Aspen Affection

My deep affection for the aspen tree only dates back to the early 2000's, but it seems like it's been a life long thing for me. Maybe it's because I did not grow up with such brilliant autumn colors anywhere near my childhood home and when I first saw these gorgeous trees in the fall, it was love at first sight. Whatever the reason, I gravitate towards these trees each and every fall, driving or flying almost 1000 miles just to be surrounded by them. These specific trees were slightly light painted with my headlamp in the middle of a forest near the town of Telluride. Photo © copyright by Jimmy Gekas.

Highly archival, pigmented inks are used with a luster finish paper to produce a long lasting print that will maintain its original hues, contrast and brightness for close to 70 years or more with proper protection from sunlight.
