A rather dry spring and summer has turned this lake's shoreline into a pattern of cracks. Aspen leaves from a nearby forest were scattered all along the edges of the lake, but this one seemed to be all alone on a bright autumn afternoon. Photo © copyright by Jimmy Gekas.
